Samsung Connected Living
Executive Summary
Create a dedicated space within Samsung.com to introduce customers to their fantastic range of connected devices with relatable and inspiring storytelling through various journeys across the experience.
Role
Associate Creative Director for the Visual UI design, UX creative direction, and content creation. We ran workshops with stakeholders, created the strategy, and storyboarded the content.
Team
Date: 2019 | Agency: Razorfish | Produced and shot on locations throughout New York City, Miami, and post-production in Boston.
Site & Experience
After sweating the wires, Framer prototypes were created to demonstrate the motion and video content. The final prototypes served as deliverables for the development and authoring teams, streamlining the handoff process and ensuring an efficient, on-time launch.
The landing page is the jumping-off point for the stories. This page also contains a Quizzard™ if you want to jump right into a story moment based on particular interests or devices.
Stories
Three stories were written, cast, and shot simultaneously with still photography and video. Each tale contains six "beats," demonstrating how Samsung devices can connect in everyday life scenarios. Also included were the "Shop the Moment" and "Quick Start Guide" pages for each beat.
Family Connection. The day in the life of a family, with the help of smart technology.
Endless Entertainment. Use connected devices to pimp out your pad and throw a rager.
Work-life balance. A busy couple keeps it together with advanced connectivity.
Content Production
An extensive process was undertaken to develop Samsung's new smart home strategy. My role involved running UX workshops, applying UX storytelling, and aligning with business strategies.
Food Truck Branding
On-the-spot design and branding for “Carlotta’s” food truck. The art department had this printed locally and applied before noon.
2019 IFA Exhibition Berlin
Following the rollout of the Connected Living site and experience, we created a Connected Living experiential display featuring 7 panels. The central panel was 60' wide x 10' tall.

Final IFA edit for the 60'x10' screen. Sound on.
